Ecology is reflected in the need to fully complete the ultra-low emission transformation and achieve low-carbon green development. Safety is reflected in technical safety, such as solving the neck stuck technology, high-end product manufacturing characterized by proprietary technology; resource supply safety, such as iron ore, coking coal, etc.

In the future, the key work of the iron and steel industry will focus on adhering to green and low carbon, promoting industry reform, seeking new development, and strive to create a new situation of high-quality development of the iron and steel industry. In this regard, Comrade He Wenbo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Chairman of China Iron and Steel Association, put forward the business principle of "three determinations and three nos" to the industry at the council held in July this year, that is, "determining production based on sales", and not turning cash into Inventory; "determine production based on efficiency", do not cause operational "blood loss"; "determine sales by current", do not turn cash into receivables.

At present, the China Iron and Steel Association is concentrating on planning and promoting the basic measures for the two major industries, actively planning and promoting the three major iron and steel reconstruction projects as a whole, as well as the two major industry development plans. The basic measures for the two major industries include a new mechanism for production capacity governance and joint restructuring; the three major steel renovation projects include capacity replacement, ultra-low emissions and extreme energy efficiency; the two major industrial development plans include the "cornerstone plan" and The steel application expansion plan that is being planned and involves the promotion of steel structure housing is the main direction of the steel downstream industry.
